Sadie was pretty good today. That is, by her current standards. She did not make any ‘mistakes’ either inside or outside of her crate. Perhaps there is hope after all! Tomorrow I have to take her to the vet for her first round of vaccinations. I wish that they had a vaccine to prevent dogs from messing in the house – if it were only that easy

Seriously, I am getting quite tired of having to get up several times each night to walk her. So far it has been about every 3 hours which means 12am, 3am, 6am. This is beginning to get a bit frustrating. Yes…I know that this is perhaps good training for a baby, but that does not make it any easier to deal with when I am trying to get a restful sleep for the next day. I have been perpetually exhausted, and that starts to wear on a person after two weeks or so.

Please pray that Sadie ‘gets it’ sooner rather than later. Our other dog (Nigel) was ‘easy’ in comparison. We can only hope and pray that Sadie will learn from her older brother!
